Week Three - Efficient Blog Posting

Writing an effective blog post that resonates with your readers is extremely important. Companies have a certain demographic that they are trying to reach, and they need to ensure that their content is engaging enough for that demographic. In terms of search engine optimization, a blog post should meet the requirements and allow them to still be in high ranks in the search engine. A good idea for companies to see what is working for them, is to analyze old blog posts to see what kind of posts and content were most successful. By doing this, businesses can ensure that they are using the necessary tools to make the most effective post.

To produce a good blog post, you need to have a good format first. From personal experience, blog posts that are too lengthy aren't desirable to read. Having an eye-catching headline also allows readers to be drawn in. Making sure that the blog post is scroll-friendly and accessible across all devices is another important factor. If a blog is designed for a website and it shows up poorly on a mobile device, the reader on the mobile device is going to click out and not read the blog post. In order for businesses to be effective in their posting, it is important to make sure they are using all the tools they need to be successful.
